I used crackle-finish copper leaf over a dark base. I added visual interest with a leaf-like texture pattern. Earrings have been sealed front and back 2x to protect the finish. Gold-filled French style earring hooks (with rubber stoppers included) complete the look. If you have any metal sensitivities, I can swap out the ear wires for surgical stainless steel — leave note with your order.
