Fine Silver Pendant / Fused Millefiore Glass

Technique: I hand-form fine silver (999) jewelry using texturing objects and other designer touches on both sides of the piece. Please see the video for a 360° view. I usually leave an “azure” (or air hole) behind the focal stone to allow form-fitting of the stone during kiln firing. This pendant is fired to ~1300°F. The focal stone is a bezel-set millefiore glass cabochon, that I made with tiny pieces of floral-pattern Italian art glass.
I like to add a patina finish to show off the texturing. Purer than sterling silver, fine silver rarely needs polishing.
