Etched Dichroic Fused Glass Earrings
Item 2470. Dimensions: 12.2mm x 34.6mm for the glass piece only, see scale photo for conversion to inches. Because of the length and glass material, these earrings are slightly heavier in weight than my other styles. These are the exact earrings you will receive, they are one-of-a-kind.
Technique: Etched and fused glass, these beautiful and shimmering earrings catch the light from every angle. Because they are dichroic, you will often see a color shift from an extreme angle — very eye-catching! I etched the pattern on the glass, cut and layered the dichroic glass with clear glass, then fired these in a glass kiln up to 1500-degrees Fahrenheit.
Ear Wires & Gift Wrap: Sterling silver-filled French style earring hooks (with rubber stoppers included) complete the look. If you have any metal sensitivities, I can swap out the ear wires for surgical stainless steel — leave note with your order. Your earrings will be carefully packed with a technique info sheet in tissue wrap and tucked into a very pretty organza drawstring gift bag (bag styles will vary.)
